Part of the vision of Crusaders Church is that all believers in our local body are trained and released to do the work of the ministry.
The Altar Workers Department’s mission is to educate and train every member in the ministry of Christ in five specific areas:
- Ministering Salvation
- Baptism in the Holy Ghost
- Acceptance into the Church
- Laying on of Hands
- Healing and the Deliverance
Altar workers are released after a sixteen week in-class training (once a week for two hours a total of seventeen and half hours) and hands on training at the altar for six months (fifteen minutes on Tuesday and Sundays, a total of thirteen hours).
The prerequisite for taking the sixteen-week Altar Workers training class is the completion of the New Members Class.
In the event the Helps Class starts before the Altar Workers Class the member should sign up for the Helps Class first, then the Altar Workers Class.
Elder Marlinda Rhodes is available for training for churches and ministries who are aiming to promote the ministry of Christ to their local body.
